Grandparents here, some disabled, some legs and feet inconvenient, some ears, others can not speak, our school students are very patient to listen to them, talk to them, talk.

Through this volunteer activity, everybody's feeling is also very deep, this is a very profound activity. I hope you can respect the old and love the young and be kind to the elderly, because they are the people in the world who most need care and greetings. Do not need too much words, do not need the performance of passion, just stretch out our warm hands, to hold the hands that were ruthlessly crushed by the years. Go talk about the joys of recent days, talk about the trivia of life, and spend this special time with your grandparents.
Although it is not the first time to talk to the old people, but it is the first time to feel bitter dialogue, watching the eyes of the old people flashing tears, we cannot help but wipe for them, even their own heart will also have feelings, cannot help falling a few acacia tears.
Think far away in the hometown of grandmother, facing the old man in front of, call a grandmother, tell the heart. Just like we were when we were young, sitting next to Grandma and listening to her childhood story. Now I am in a foreign land, but here I find another love, the same as the love of my grandmother.
Love, though silent, is better than sound. May those grannies live their old years in good health.
This is Matthew Li from group 5. I also participated this service and I remember you guys did a great job of maintaining hyperactive atmosphere during the whole event. Sometimes a simple accompany with grannies can make them feel comfortable and love. It is a memorable activity to let us be thankful. However, there are some technological problems that I cannot see the above photos. Can you please fix them to let us see more photos on that day?

回复删除I am TSE YAN from group 1. I believe that you did well in this activity and this was a meaningful activity. This was a good chance for you to do social work and help elderly. As a university student, we have responsibility to serve our society. Hope you could enjoy it and understand more about Buddhism through this course. By the way, maybe there were some problems about the photos and hope you could fix them haha
回复删除Hi, I am Alvin from group 3. This is nice to hear your group in a deep feeling to serve with those Elderly. Yes, we cannot do so much in this moment. Just only spend an hour to having fun with them. But this experience will contribute to our future to frame ourselves to know how to take care some under pr village person and not just think to ourselves.
