This was my first time to visit elderly center and I was very excited! Before the activities, out tutor Polly organized us discussing specific activities we were going to do. After the discussion, we decided to form in 3 groups and each groups would play the show individually. In my own group, we prepared 30 commonsense questions and 5 songs, and elders could get cakes as gifts if they answered correctly. For other group, they even brought guitar to play accompaniment music when they singing songs.  In the beginning of the visiting activities, we were welcomed by all elders and staff in elderly center since they were really passionate for our coming. Then we introduced ourselves firstly, when I started talking with elders, I saw smile on their faces, I did not feel nervous anymore since the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.  In the end of this visiting activity, we played a game called tearing game together. sing Grandparents watching the show Grandparents here, some disabled, some legs and feet inconvenient, some ears, others can not speak, our school students are very patient to listen to them, talk to them, talk. Talking to Grandma. And finally, a photo of everyone and grandparents. Through this volunteer activity, everybody's feeling is also very deep, this is a very profound activity. I hope you can respect the old and love the young and be kind to the elderly, because they are the people in the world who most need care and greetings. Do not need too much words, do not need the performance of passion, just stretch out our warm hands, to hold the hands that were ruthlessly crushed by the years. Our CSL group had been to nursing home on Mar 12th at Kwun Tong. I had an unforgettable experience at this Monday since the elders in this visiting activities aged almost over 86 years old. For me, this was my first time to get touch with a group of elders in this age period. According to elders' preference, we prepared some classic songs such as The Moon Represents My Heart , and some simply English songs for our show. After that, we planned 20 minutes to have chat with elders in the dinning room, through this part, we hoped to get some responses and evaluation towards our show.  However, something were beyond our expectations, because of the higher age grade, most of elders were not only have limitation on daily activities such as having meals, washing faces, but also have visual disturbances and brain degeneration, they could not even communicate normally.
